Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to inspections quoted and carried out by Owner Inspections Pty Ltd (ABN 67 600 802 533).

Scope of an inspection

Inspections are visual and non-invasive. We report on what is reasonably visible and safely accessible on the day. We do not move heavy furniture, lift fixed floor coverings, or open up building elements. Anything not accessible is stated in the report.

Standards

Building inspections are carried out in accordance with AS 4349.1 and timber pest inspections in accordance with AS 4349.3, except where a different scope is agreed in writing.

Reports

The report is prepared for the client named on it and for the property inspected. It is not transferable to another party or another property.

Payment

Fees are payable after the inspection and before the report is released, unless other arrangements are agreed in writing.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
